Xia Baolong meets Macao lawmakers to discuss economic resilience and integration

Xia Baolong, Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, was on day four of his visit to Macao today.
He met with local National People's Congress deputies, Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference members and lawmakers.
Discussions focused on Macao's economic outlook amid China-U.S. tensions and the strategic development of the Hengqin area.
Xia stressed Beijing's support for Macao's diversified economic growth and praised the new administration's initiatives.
He also visited the Legislative Council for a roundtable discussion with all members.
