Financial Secretary attends Asian Development Bank annual meeting in Milan

Financial Secretary Paul Chan arrived in Milan on Sunday to attend the annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank, or ADB.
The financial chief will participate in the ADB's constituency meeting in which representatives from member countries will discuss topics including how to navigate the current economic risks and uncertianties in the region, and optimising resource utilisation to better assist low-and-middle-income countries.
Paul Chan also met with Rachel Thompson, the ADB Board Director representing Hong Kong, China's constituency to talk about how the city can better assist the bank in the issuance of insurance-linked securities, including catastrophe bonds.
