Airport Authority setting sights on developing SKYTOPIA

At the Hong Kong International Airport Reception held at AsiaWorld-Expo, the Airport Authority revealed the body recorded a surplus for the last financial year, indicating strong financial health.
Outlining the developments for Hong Kong International Airport, Airport Authority Chairman Fred Lam said after the third runway's rollout, the next focus will be on developing Airport City under the newly launched SKYTOPIA.
SKYTOPIA will feature components, including the Airport Bay Marina, an Art Hub and a 20,000-seat performance arena in Phase 2 of AsiaWorld-Expo.
One notable element was the introduction of the world's first fleet of autonomous vehicles in live airport operations, including a driverless bus that will shuttle passengers between the Hong Kong Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the airport.
