Pakistan says it has credible intelligence that India intends to launch military action soon, as tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbours escalate just days after a deadly attack on tourists in Indian-controlled Kashmir. Authorities in the region have temporarily closed dozens of tourist resorts.

A picturesque spot in Srinagar in Indian-controlled Kashmir. But only a few tourists are seen here in the usually packed Mughal garden.
And this usually busy tour guide shows all the cancellations he has received on his cell phone since 26 people were killed, most of them Indian tourists, in nearby Pahalgam just over a week ago.
Travel agent Tawqueer Shah said: "We were completely sold out till the month of June, I would say. But because of this recent incident which happened in Pahalgam, we face a 100 percent cancellation. Our next tour is in the month of September."
India described the massacre as a terror attack, accusing Pakistan of backing it as India identified three attackers, which included two Pakistani nationals, as terrorists waging a violent revolt in Muslim-majority Kashmir.
Pakistan's military accused the Indian army of orchestrating terror attacks in the country, claiming the Pakistani nationals were allegedly used by India to carry out those attacks.
The U.N. secretary-general has expressed deep concern at the rising tensions between India and Pakistan and spoke by phone with Pakistan's prime minister and India's minister for external affairs.
Spokesperson for U.N. Secretary-General Stephane Dujarric said: "In his phone calls, the secretary-general reiterated his strong condemnation of the 22 April terrorist attack that took place in Jammu and Kashmir. The secretary-general noted the importance of pursuing justice and accountability for these attacks through lawful means."
