Four former lawmakers jailed in the landmark Hong Kong national security trial was freed on Tuesday after being behind bars for more than four years, including Claudia Mo.
Philip Bowring, Mo's husband, said she was calm on her return home and needed time to rest.
Philip Bowring: "I'm very pleased that she's home, but she's resting so I can't really say anymore, so thank you very much for your concern and your interest, and there's nothing more I can add. So, thank you."
Journalist: "Will she come out and say a few words to us?"
Philip Bowring: "No, I think for the time being she won't be giving interviews. I'm sorry about that, but as you know the circumstances... So that's all I can say. Well, I mean, we'll see. She's only just come back, so we have to get used to it. She has to get used to life again in the outside world. we'll go to England at some point to see our grandchildren. But it's probably not till July or something like that."
