Hong Kong reports one new case of mpox

Hong Kong has reported one new case of mpox.
The patient is currently in stable condition.
The 33-year-old male began suffering from rashes on Tuesday last week and showed signs of an enlarged lymph node.
He sought medical help at the Yau Ma Tei Male Social Hygiene Clinic last Friday, before he was sent to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment.
The Centre for Health Protection said preliminary investigations indicated he was not vaccinated against mpox.
No information suggests that his case is related to prior mpox cases in the city.
