Lucy Guo, the cofounder of the U.S. tech startup Scale AI, has topped Forbes' list of the youngest self-made woman billionaire in the world, unseating singer Taylor Swift.
Thirty-year-old Guo, whose parents are Chinese immigrants, now resides in Los Angeles, California.
She cofounded Scale AI in Los Angeles with Alexandr Wang in 2016.
Guo was mainly in charge of its daily operations and product design, but later had differing opinions with Wang regarding management.
Though Guo departed from Scale AI in 2018, she still owns an estimated 5 percent stake in the company worth nearly 1.2 billion U.S. dollars.
Scale AI is expected to increase its capital stock on June 1st that will value the company at 25 billion dollars.
Because of this, Guo's asset saw an 80 percent jump from May 2024.
