Misty weather in Hong Kong is followed by a cold front

A humid southerly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong. The city was covered in mist this morning, with the visibility in the harbour once dropped below 1,000 metres.
Hazy horizon. Under the mist, the city's landmark bridges, Ting Kau and Tsing Ma, were semi-visible. Some residents carried out their morning exercise along a promenade.
The Observatory says a humid airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong, while a trough of low pressure now over central China will develop into a cold front on Saturday.
Authorities say residents should expect a rainy and cooler weather over the weekend -- temperatures will fall to about 18 and 17 degrees Celsius on Saturday and Sunday morning.
