大家好，據說最多人許下的生日願望是世界和平。

對，在七十年代，世界和平的確是大眾的願望，很多流行曲也引用這個主題，就像以下這首。

想像有一天沒有財產，不知道你是否能夠放下，不再有貪婪或飢餓，大家都情同手足，想像所有人都能和平共享這個世界。(Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can, no need for greed or hunger, a brotherhood of man, imagine all the people, sharing all the world.)

這首是John Lennon的代表作Imagine，是講述反越戰。

對，想特別一提wonder這個字，wonder作為名詞是指奇妙、令人驚喜的事物，因此有wonderful這個形容詞。但作為動詞to wonder，有好奇和求知的意思。

比如說不知道這個周末會否陽光普照(I wonder whether it will be sunny this weekend?)，也可以這樣說我想知道為甚麼(I wonder why)、我好奇甚麼時候會發生(I wonder when)。

對，歌詞中還有to wonder if，在to wonder後加if，不只是提問那麼簡單，而是有質疑或懷疑的意思。John Lennon在歌詞中說，你是否做得到(I wonder if you can)，帶有諷刺意味，意指你是否做得到。

因為在他的新世界裡，要放棄所有財產，想像有一天沒有財產(imagine no possessions)，所有東西都要共享(sharing all the world)，真的可以做到嗎？

現時很多貧窮國家不夠疫苗應用，不知道發達國家會否願意和它們平均分配疫苗？我懷疑發達國家，是否願意和貧窮國家分配疫苗(I just wonder if the developed countries would share all their COVID vaccines with the poorer countries)。
