Hong Kong's Olympic table tennis medallist Minnie Soo has announced her retirement, closing the curtain on a 12-year professional journey.
In a heartfelt social media post, the 27-year-old says she steps away with "no regrets" but also expresses a mix feeling of both anticipation and anxiety.
Soo etched her name in the city's sporting history at the Tokyo Olympics, claiming bronze in the women's team event alongside Lee Ho-ching and Doo Hoi-kem.
In recent years, Soo has been managing lingering nerve injuries.
