Today is the Chung Yeung Festival, and following tradition, many residents went up the hills for tomb sweeping and paid their respect to their ancestors.

A large number of residents visited Cape Collinson Cemetery in Chai Wan to pay respects to their ancestors.

Police officers patrolled the area to maintain order.

Many families brought flowers and offerings to pay respect to their ancestors.

Meanwhile, at the Diamond Hill columbarium, where a local case of Chikungunya fever has been reported in the same area, residents who went to pay respect to their ancestors were advised to take mosquito repellent measures.
