The draft recommendations of the upcoming plan, covering the period from 2026 to 2030, were deliberated over and adopted by participants.
Key catogories mapped out include bolstering China's high-quality development, technological self-sufficiency, reforms and improving people's quality of life.
Congratulating the successful closing of the session, Chief Executive John Lee hailed the plan as a milestone that provides a strategic blueprint. He said it carries great significance to the development of the nation and the city.
