Ayuwang Pagoda in Shanxi Province has long history

The Ayuwang Pagoda in Shanxi Province is one of China's nineteen relic pagodas.

First built during the Sui Dynasty, it was destructed multiple times after its completion and later was reconstructed as a brick pagoda in the Yuan Dynasty.

In 2001, it was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
