Police seized 32 kilogrammes of suspected ketamine valued at about 13 million dollars -- allegedly trafficked from overseas.
Three people have been arrested -- including two 15-year-old girls.
A man and a woman were found to be unpacking parcels at a public housing estate in Sha Tin yesterday afternoon which were intended to be hauled into a unit at the estate. The parcels were later found to contain suspected ketamine concealed by old clothing.
Further investigations revealed the shipment was delivered from overseas. Police arrested three people, including two students, allegedly being lured by a drug trafficking syndicate with money to help with unpacking and collecting the drugs.
