Tourism Board's 1st HK Halloween Month

The Tourism Board will launch its first-ever Hong Kong Halloween Month this October with citywide celebrations over the weekends.

The Halloween jamboree includes spooky fests at various tourist spots, from Central and Lan Kwai Fong to Kai Tak and Tsim Sha Tsui, over three consecutive Saturdays starting October 17.

They will feature DJ street parties and spooky makeovers at major attractions, such as the Kai Tak Stadium.

Free rides on designated trams and open-top sightseeing buses too -- for those donning Halloween costumes.

The city's two theme parks -- Disneyland and Ocean Park -- meanwhile have also kickstarted their Halloween events.
