Traffic accident in TKO with a female pedestrian hospitalised

A traffic accident occurred in Tseung Kwan O this evening, leaving a female pedestrian unconscious and hospitalised.

The incident involved a private car and a green minibus near the Po Lam Fire Station at around 8:30 pm. A 29-year-old female pedestrian was struck by the passing private car.

During the incident, a minibus, apparently unable to brake in time, collided with the private car.

The injured woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in an unconscious state for treatment.

The male driver of the private car complained of a headache and received treatment from paramedics at the scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
