Kai Tak's six-stop smart and green mass transit system tender closes

The tender for Kai Tak Smart and Green Mass Transit System closes at noon today.

Representatives from consortiums including the MTR Corporation have submitted their bids to the Government Headquarters.

The project involves constructing a smart green mass transit system in Kai Tak, which is about 3.5 kilometres long.

It needs to include a dedicated elevated carriageway corridor, six stations and one depot, providing light, green transport services to the nearest railway station, strengthening the continuity of commercial and residential development, community facilities and connectivity with the existing railway network.
