CPC anniversary art show with 100-plus works opens free to public

An exhibition commemorating the 105th anniversary of the Communist Party of China showcases more than 100 works of Chinese art, including pieces from the renowned Qi Baishi, kicks off today.

The four-day exhibition, dubbed "Better than Ever" showcases works that draws inspiration from Chinese culture, will be open to pubic until Sunday.

Works by Qi and master Wu Guanzhong are among the highlights of the show, along with pieces never seen before in Hong Kong.

Art lovers can immerse in the rich variety of works that tap into various mediums, including oil paintings, calligraphy and photography.

The public can visit the show at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai free of charge.
