Yuncheng Salt Lake turns summer palette

Yuncheng Salt Lake in Shanxi is one of the world's three largest inland salt lakes of the sodium sulfate type. In the summer heat, mineral crystallisation and microbial activity work together, giving the lake water an array of colours and turning it into a natural palette.
