Hong Kong graduates' average annual income reach 330K

A survey shows that 2024/25 graduates of full-time University Grant Committee-funded programmes reach an average annual income of 336,000 dollars, a 2% year-on-year rise.

The University Grant Committee’s survey finds that the University of Hong Kong’s graduates earn the highest average yearly salary of 400,000 dollars.

That figure also records a year-on-year decrease of 1,000 dollars.

Students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Education University of Hong Kong can earn an average annual salary of 399,000 and 353,000 dollars, respectively.

The average annual income for Lingnan University graduates, meanwhile, is 248,000 dollars, a 2% year-on-year increase.

As for the highest-yearly salary graduate jobs, dentists, doctors and nurses stand at the top, reaching an average of 554,000 dollars.
