Book fair to end today

The seven-day book fair ends at 5 pm today, and many booksellers started discount promotions early.

The fair opened one hour early today at 9 am. Many people rushed for bargains. Some booksellers also launched special products in addition to discounts, hoping to draw more visitors.

Last year’s book fair lost one day of business because of typhoon which reached Hurricane Signal No. 10, but some booksellers said they only hope this year’s sales can at least match that of last year.
