Speaking at a forum, Chief Executive John Lee says Hong Kong is the preferred platform for mainland enterprises to "go global," with the city having assisted over two hundred mainland companies in expanding overseas.
Chief Executive John Lee, TVB Executive Chairman Thomas Hui, and Standard Chartered Bank's Mary Huen officiated at the Greater Bay Area Global Business Expansion Summit.
In his address, Lee says facing the reshaping of global economic and trade demands, Hong Kong, as one of the central cities of the Greater Bay Area, can lead mainland enterprises to go global.
He also mentions his visit to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan last month.
He says many mainland companies in the delegation are actively preparing for listing in Hong Kong.
