First batch of restaurants with dog permits, starting tmr

Starting tomorrow, the first batch of qualified restaurants will be allowed to allow dogs in, and many restaurants have already prepared the necessary facilities.

Over 900 restaurants across Hong Kong have completed the amended licensing procedures and will allow dogs in.

One of them is this restaurant in Hung Hom.

This morning, the restaurant's operator went to the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department to collect the designated signage, which will be prominently displayed at the entrance tomorrow.

The department also distributed code of conduct flyers.

The restaurant has prepared supporting equipment, such as dog trash cans and pet pee pads.

Some restaurants said the most important thing is to strengthen cleaning and disinfection.
