PLA navy fleet departed from HK

Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) navy fleet, consisting of guided-missile destroyer Nanning and guided-missile frigate Hengyang, along with ship-borne helicopters and marines, which had been docked at the PLA Hong Kong Garrison's naval base on Stonecutters Island for five days, left the city this morning.

The open-house events and cultural exchange activities over the past five days aimed at facilitating the understanding of Hong Kong citizens towards the country's new era of national defense and military development.
