Wang Yi meets with Danish king

Foreign Minister Wang Yi meets with the King of Denmark Frederik X and reiterates China's readiness to strengthen cooperation with the Scandinavian country.

Wang says the cooperation should be in emerging areas such as the green economy, innovation and artificial intelligence.

Wang also says there should be more people-to-people exchanges to enhance friendship between the two peoples.

The Danish King says the two countries enjoy a long history of exchanges, and that the Danish royal family stands ready

to play an active role in carrying forward the traditional friendship between China and Denmark.
