The Shenzhou 23 crew has been aboard the space station for over a month now.

The official Weibo account of China's manned space engineering programme has released footage of the crew's work and daily life from the past week.

They used an oven to roast pumpkin in the space station.

Lai Ka-ying, along with Zhu Yangzhu and Zhang Zhiyuan, tucked in with great relish.

They also interacted with the station's first in-cabin intelligent flying robot, "Xiaohang," conducting touch-interaction tests and collecting data to later optimise the robot's motion planning algorithms.

In the footage, aside from Lai Ka-ying's signature "skyward ponytail" look,

she is also seen letting her long hair loose during some experimental tasks,

with her strands drifting and floating naturally in the microgravity environment
