Police arrest 11 over suspected crash-for-cash scams

Police have arrested another 11 people on suspicion of crash-for-cash scams.

Authorities have been targeting crash-for-cash scams since the start of the year. Speaking to the media, the police say they have received 500 reports about the relevant scams, involving the sum of 135 million dollars.

The force says the 11 suspects, aged between 28 and 47, submitted forged documents to apply for compensation.
