Guangzhou's Municipal Commerce Bureau supports Conghua regular races

Guangzhou's Municipal Commerce Bureau has issued a document supporting the launch of regular racing events at the Conghua Racecourse.

The "15th Five Year Plan for Guangzhou's Commercial Development " calls for public views on various proposals. It suggests supporting the development of horse racing.

Hong Kong Jockey Club's Conghua Racecourse is expected to hold its first international race event by the end of October, but with no gambling involved.

To facilitate the event and the movement of horses, Guangzhou Customs has developed a "horse face intelligent recognition" system, which can complete identification of horses in under three seconds, with an accuracy rate of up to 99 percent.
