Netanyahu says Israel took out 10,000 Hezbollah militants in attacks

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the Israel Defense Force had taken out nearly 10,000 Hezbollah militants in its continued attacks in southern Lebanon.

This while Israel's military strikes a number of what it claims to be Hezbollah infrastructure.

According to a video released by the Israeli army on Wednesday, its troops killed more than 20 militants.

Israel and Lebanon announced a ceasefire earlier, but Hezbollah has refused to accept the truce.

Israeli troops have seized around a fifth of Lebanon, pushing farther into the country's south than at any time since the end of last century's Israel occupation in 2000.
