Cathay Pacific CEO Paul Lam says the Middle East conflict has kept international aviation fuel prices elevated -- and if this continues, flights may be further reduced in September.
According to a Bloomberg report, Lam reveals that the company has cut flights by 2 percent until the end of June, promising to maintain full capacity during the peak summer season in July and August.
He also notes that unless there's more clarity in the Middle East situation after the summer vacation, CX flight frequencies might be trimmed again by September.
