The Shenzhou-23 crew releases the latest footage of their space mission including the work environment of Hong Kong's first astronaut Lai Ka-ying under zero-gravity condition.

In the latest video released by the Shenzhou-23 crew, the city's first woman in space is seen handling a device with fellow crew members Zhu Yangzhu and Zhang Zhiyuan on the spacecraft.

Showing her trademark smile, Lai Ka-ying enjoys a space meal as the trio continues to embark on various tasks on their mission.

Besides her standard uniform, Lai later switches into a more casual pink jacket and shorts for work as crewmate Zhang Zhiyuan drifts nearby.

Having boarded the Tiangong space station for around two weeks, the China Manned Space Program (CMS) releases footage of the Shenzhou-23 crew meeting with their predecessors from the Shenzhou-21 mission.

The six astronauts are united in conducting their space-bound tasks as they live together on the space station during the transitional period.

Void of gravity, Lai maintains her positivity as she is seen floating around the craft, needing to grab hold of parts of the space station's interior in order to maintain her balance.

The CMS notes the three crew members of Shenzhou-23 remain in good condition and have already adjusted to the zero gravity condition in space.

This as the trio will conduct more than a hundred scientific experiments during their time in the space station.
