Health authorities say Ebola has low public health impact on Hong Kong

A committee under the Centre for Health Protection says the immediate public health impact of Ebola on Hong Kong remains low.

The Scientific Committee on Emerging and Zoonotic Diseases held a meeting on Wednesday.

The committee recommends the government carry on implementing several measures to mitigate the risk of imported Ebola disease cases, including ready-to-use quarantine facilities and health screenings for African passengers arriving in Hong Kong.
