Astronauts from HK could go to space mission this year.
The China Manned Space Agency said that astronauts from Hong Kong and Macao could undertake a space station mission as early as this year.
The Agency announced plans for two manned spaceflight missions and one cargo spacecraft resupply mission this year.
One astronaut from the Shenzhou-23 crew will conduct a one-year stay experiment.
It also said that to achieve the goal of China's first lunar landing before 2030, this year will see a full-scale push forward with the construction of the Wenchang Space Launch Site, related facilities and equipment for the lunar landing mission, as well as the construction of ground support systems.
