Forbest unveiled its latest Hong Kong's 50 Richest List with property tycoons taking the top three spots once more.
Li Ka-shing retained his position as Hong Kong's richest person for the sixth consecutive year.
The founder of CK Hutchison has an estimated net worth of 352 billion dollars.
Li's wealth increased by more than 60 billion dollars year-on-year -- the largest gain in absolute terms among those on the list.
35 other tycoons on the list also recorded growth in their fortunes.
Ranked second are Peter Lee Ka-kit and Martin Lee Ka-shing -- co-chairmen of Henderson Land with combined wealth surpassing 272 billion dollars.
Their fortunes were boosted by a surge of more than 40 percent of Henderson's share prices.
Third place goes to the family of Henry Cheng of New World Development.
The Lee Kum Kee family, which runs food and sauce business, ranked fourth.
Forbes notes that a series of initial public offerings and a gradual recovery in the property market buoyed the stock market, which in turn helped Hong Kong's 50 richest tycoons reach new heights in their fortunes from 301 billion US dollars last year to 366 billion US dollars -- up 20 percent.
