A sick female defendant missed her court date for the murder case that took place in Tuen Mun's Tseng Tau Chung Tsuen on Monday.
The trial was adjourned to next Monday.
The 51-year-old female defendant is the wife of the deceased and has been charged with one count of murder. For now, she is not required to enter a plea.
On Monday, police received a report that a 63-year-old man was found unconscious and lying on the floor inside a village house in Tseng Tau Chung Tsuen with severe head injuries. He was certified dead at the scene, and it is suspected he was killed after being attacked with a blunt object.
After investigation, police suspect he was attacked by his wife using a stainless-steel cooking pot.
