An attempt to break CEO-killer Luigi Mangione out of prison has been foiled.
A man was pretending to be an FBI agent with a court order for Mangione's release.
The imposter was arrested.
Mangione is in jail awaiting a state and federal trial for the murder of former United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
There is no evidence that Mangione was working with the suspect. NBC News has more.
