Pets can enjoy Spring Festival dinners too

As Spring Festival draws near, Chinese pet product manufacturers are tapping into festive creativity by launching customized "Spring Festival Eve dinners" for pets, allowing owners to celebrate the festival together with their fluffy companions during the grandest annual holiday.

At a food processing workshop in Zhenjiang City of east China's Jiangsu Province, workers have been geared up to produce their Year of the Horse-themed gift boxes, with fresh chicken breasts, supplements, and other premium ingredients added to make the special gourmet meals.

The gift box sets have been especially popular, thanks to their variety and strong festive appeal. Monthly sales typically range from 200 to 300 sets, and stocks often sell out quickly," said the pet shop operator Kou Jianqiu.
