Some residents say they need time to adapt to new seatbelt law

On the first working day after the new mandatory seatbelt law took effect, many residents said they needed time to adapt.

On the second day of the new law's implementation, notices were posted on the front of buses reminding passengers to wear seatbelts if they were installed.

Though most citizens wore seatbelts, not every bus has seatbelts installed.

On some buses, seatbelts were not available in priority seats or seats closer to the doors.

Some citizens indicated they still needed time to adapt to the new law.
