The U.S. Secretary of Defense writing "This is not the beginning of a war, it is a declaration of vengeance." This after ISIS ambushed two U.S. soldiers in Syria killing them.

The U.S. president had vowed to retaliate hours after that attack and promised any terrorist that strikes America will be "hit harder than they've ever been hit before."
