A deadly blaze broke out at Shek Wai Kok Estate in Tsuen Wan this afternoon. During the fire, a man fell from his flat and was certified dead after being rushed to hospital.
Flames and smoke could be seen engulfing the building.
Police received reports about the fire at around 4 p.m.
Firefighters reached the scene and put out the flame.
Around 80 residents evacuated on their own.
During the fire, a resident of about 60 years old plunged from a unit and fell into a coma.
After being rushed to hospital for emergency treatment, he was pronounced dead.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and how the man fell.
