HK clinched historic youth men's team tennis bronze

Team Hong Kong notched bronze at the Youth Men's Tennis Team event, marking the city's first-ever medal in the category.

Players Wong Tsz-fu and Kai Thompson celebrated early wins scoring back-to-back victories in singles events, sweeping Hebei in straight sets.

That also brought Team Hong Kong for the first time into the semi-finals in this event.

Jack Cheng and Nicholas Cheng lost their singles matches in the semis, thumped by Jiangsu 2-0.

With no third-place play-offs, Team Hong Kong still made history with the first medal in this category.
