The city reported one more imported chikungunya fever case.

The case involves a 55-year-old woman living in Lam Tin.

Preliminary investigations revealed that she visited Zhongshan in Guangdong alone on October 9 and 10.

She developed joint pains on Monday, followed by a fever the next day.

She is currently hospitalised at United Christian Hospital and in stable condition.

So far this year, Hong Kong has recorded a total of 39 imported chikungunya fever cases.
