The hearing on Abby Choi's murder case continues at the High Court.

This as the prosecution's final witness completed her testimony, with the defence case set to begin next Monday.

The prosecution's expert witness, forensic pathologist Dr. Kwok Ka-ki, continued her testimony saying nine wounds were found on Choi's lower left limb, and determined they were inflicted prior to her death.

When questioned by the defence about her earlier statement about the hole in Choi's skull being caused by a hammer, Kwok said she cannot determine the exact size and shape of the blunt object just from the head wound.

She further pointed to serious fractures in Choi's cheekbones and jaw, believing they could have been caused by multiple strikes to the head.

This as Kwok highlighted the traumatic brain injury on the back of Choi's head as one of the fatal wounds.
