About 160 million Brazilian voters are choosing between President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and opposition candidate Flavio Bolsonaro in a presidential runoff Sunday.
Voting in the second round officially begins at 8am local time. Lula is seeking a fourth term to lead Latin America's most populous country. He enters a voting centre at a school in Sao Bernardo do Campo to cast his ballot.
Lula's rival aims to return his family name to power while his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro, is sentenced to 27 years behind bars for a coup attempt.
Flavio Bolsonaro votes in Rio de Janeiro, claiming "the time has come for real change." Several recent polls have shown a tight race.
