White House press sec Zacharia’s resume in question

New White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia’s resume is being questioned after just one day on the job.

Zacharia has long described herself as a lawyer and established herself as conservative commentator appearing on networks including Fox News and Newsmax.

However, there is no evidence to suggest she passed the bar exam in any state or in China, where she worked for a large law firm years ago.

Her credentials raise questions as to why she was tapped by US President Donald Trump. Zacharia had previously worked several months at Trump’s social media platform Truth Social.

When confronted by the press about when she had passed the bar exam, she replied “when I moved to China.”

China’s National Unified Legal Professional Qualification Examination can only be taken by Chinese citizens.

In a statement Zacharia says she received a bachelor of arts degree from Pepperdine University in 2007 and a law degree from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in 2011. The statement reads, “I practiced international transaction law, with all the appropriate credentials.”
