Blast heard in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh international airport

An explosion was heard at Terminal 3 of King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital Riyadh, eyewitnesses said.

Thick black smoke was seen rising into the air Saturday after the explosion. A Saudi official said the Riyadh airport had been evacuated, and air traffic had stopped.

Attacks on the Riyadh international airport in Saudi Arabia earlier this week damaged three aircraft, officials said.
