Worker dead after falling from work platform in Tung Chung

A worker of around 30 years old allegedly plunged from an external wall work platform at a public housing site in Tung Chung East. He was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.

The incident happened at Tung Chung's Area 103.

Police received a report near 2pm that a male worker was working on an 11 to 13-storey platform while dismantling an exterior wall. He allegedly fell from the second-floor platform.
