Americans are deeply frustrated with US President Donald Trump's handling

of the economy and rising prices, with most panning his performance and

blaming his policies, according to a latest poll.

Trump, however, pushes back, saying the economy is at its historic best.

“We have most money being invested in our country,

ever, by many times. So, we have all these numbers, and, honestly,

the press doesn't talk about it. And I would say this. I give us an A-plus on the government,

on economics, on everything. Look at inflation. I inherited the worst inflation in history under

Biden. Worst in history. And now it's great. It's really good. We've got it down.

And oil is going to come down very, very soon,” Trump says.

The new poll from the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research

finds only 17% of US adults approve of the president's handling of the cost of living.

Just 26% approve of his handling of the economy overall, marking a new low.

These numbers come just weeks before midterm elections that will determine

the Rupublican's control of Congress.
