HK Alliance organisers guilty of incitement of subversion

Lee Cheuk-yan and Chow Hang-tung of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China are found guilty of incitement to subversion.

The verdict is delivered at the West Kowloon Law Courts.

The court says Lee and Chow were the "directing mind and will" of the Alliance, aiming to advocate and perform activities to end the leadership of the CCP, with Hong Kong people being their main target audience.

Another member, Albert Ho, pleaded guilty earlier.

The court is adjourned until August 28, when the mitigation plea takes place.
