Flag-raising ceremony with HK Youth Corps & mainland uni honour guard

The Hong Kong Youth Corps and the honour guard of mainland universities held a joint flag-raising ceremony in the morning at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai.

Totalling about 250 students, the Hong Kong Youth Corps, together with the Fudan University National Flag Guard and the Tsinghua University Student National Flag Honour Guard, attended the ceremony.

This year marks the third year of the event.

Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs Alice Mak and former Commissioner of Police Raymond Siu were also in attendance.

This year marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March.
